Okay, so I'm slow. BUT yuletide reveals went live, and my fantastic story now for a breath i tarry was written by kaydee_falls, who is on my f-list, and whose fiction I've read at great length. It's a story for The History Boys, and it was amazing, and I'm immensely grateful for it. (Also I totally read it and thought it was written by kaydee, and should have posted that guess. lol.)

I myself wrote: Tally All Antecedents and A Learned Man for my recipient, drunken_hedghog, both fics for the film series "Young Guns I&II" focusing on Keifer Sutherland's character, Doc Scurlock. I ended up doing a stocking stuffer in addition to my first fic, as she would have preferred I stay away from death fic, but. . . the story refused to, originally. So I gave her a happy little addition so she didn't feel too cheated. She seemed to really enjoy them, so I was happy with them!

I also wrote Shorn of Their Illusion as a pinch hit for crickets. It was a Derek/Cameron piece for "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a bit on the dark side. Cameron/Derek isn't my pairing of choice, but I thought it worked out pretty well, and the recipient enjoyed it. (Which doesn't mean I hate the pairing, by the way. Not at all. It just wouldn't have been my first choice if I were writing for myself. Part of the fun of yuletide is being pushed in new directions I think.)

And my story for rs_small_gifts went live as well. On Christmas Day I believe. Heh. I wrote Sounds of the Season for thescarletwoman, a twelve-days-of-Christmas themed Marauder prank fic with James playing inept matchmaker for Remus and Sirius. I thought it came out well, and was glad that my recipient enjoyed it!

All fics will probably be reposted here, and will definitely go up in my fic journal at ij.

On the personal side of the spectrum, I'm doing pretty well health-wise. I am officially over 100 pounds lighter, which is awesome. My neuro-docs did a pretty major switch up of my headache meds though, which is making me feel decidedly on the "blah" side of things. It always takes me a while to adjust, so I'm in that stage where I feel like I have zip creativity and even RP tags are hard to make come sometimes. I am eager for this stage to be over.

Also I went to the zoo last week, and there were tiny baby white tigers and ickle spider monkeys and I went into the aviary and was COVERED in Lorikeets, who did not crap on me, thankfully, and we kept coming back to sit near the Komodo Dragon's enclosure, and every time I came over there, he (she?) would crawl off her rock and come sit by the glass and stare at me. They're really very pretty and sort of kind looking up close. Not that I want to pet one, but I think we made friends? I have no idea.

And for now, I leave with that icon meme everyone is doing.

OUT OF HOW MANY AVAILABLE ICONS SPACES: 195 (I totally need to upload more)
IF YOU COULD BUY SPACE FOR MORE, WOULD YOU: Probably, even though I still have open spaces. I'm a freak like that.
DO YOUR ICONS MAKE A STATEMENT: Yes. They say "I thought this icon was shiny".
WHAT FANDOM DO YOU HAVE THE MOST ICONS OF: Buffy/Angel (Surprising, I would have thought it was HP)
WHAT SHIP DO YOU HAVE THE MOST ICONS OF: I don't have many shippy icons. Probably Remus/Sirius.
ARE THEY ANY GOOD: Nope, that's why I don't make them.
ANIMATED ICONS ARE: Okay in moderation, but in general I don't like many.
